
Wiser Awarded Two Year Indefinite Delivery Contract from the Tennessee Department of Transportation
Wiser was awarded a two year Indefinite Delivery Contract from the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) to perform photogrammetric and mapping services. These services will include ground control, flight planning, photo acquisition, digital terrain modeling, topographic mapping, photographic production/reproduction services including developing, printing, scanning to electronic files, digital orthographic rectification of photographic images, and other related services supporting the production of maps including Light Distancing and Ranging (LiDAR) and other remote sensing services.
Wiser Selected by the City of Murfreesboro to Provide Engineering Services
Wiser was selected by the City of Murfreesboro to provide engineering services for the reconstruction and widening of Middle Tennessee Boulevard. The Wiser team will provide engineering, landscape architecture, intelligent transportation system design, preparation of environmental documents and construction engineering inspection for a four/five lane roadway with landscaped medians, sidewalks, bike lanes which will integrate with the MTSU campus environment.

Wiser Names Tom Reed as Risk Management Director & General Counsel
Wiser names Tom Reed as Risk Management Director & General Counsel where he will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all legal affairs of Wiser and will function as a key member of the Executive Management Team. Reed will serve as an integral business and legal adviser to senior management.
Reed previously served as City Attorney of Murfreesboro for 30 years. He provided legal services for the construction and development of more than $150,000,000 of new building construction in the City, plus all street and utility improvements, established and administered a self-insured risk fund for the City that continues to save the City more than $1,000,000 annually. Reed represented the City Schools, Murfreesboro Electric Department, and Murfreesboro Water and Sewer Department as well.
Reed’s most impressive legal professional accomplishment was to have served on the Supreme Court Civil Rules Committee (a committee appointed by the Tennessee Supreme Court consisting of 9 lawyers from across Tennessee, a Supreme Court Justice, and 3 law school professors) for seven (7) years, five (5) which were required to write and publish the Tennessee Rules of Evidence, which are used in all courts of Tennessee today.
